Are you responsible for more than one database, or for integrating data across the enterprise? Do you need to see, understand, and leverage your table information and relationships, or produce a single, compliant model of that data? RapidACE is the only tool available for the enterprise data warehouse market capable of intelligently visualizing, consolidating, and exploiting your disparate data models for data integration and testing.

Summary
The Rapid Architectural Consolidation Engine (RapidACE) is a 3D visualization and integration package that streamlines and optimizes data modeling activities within data warehousing and enterprise data integration envrionments. By automating the creation, unification, and updating of model architecture, RapidACE improves DW and BI team efficiencies. |
Benefits
• Generates a standard model
• Assimilates model changes
• Audits and verifies models
• Shows relationships in 3D
• Speeds model development
• Reduces model maintenance
• Creates ETL, ELT routines
• Writes test data routines |
Introduction
RapidACE's complete control of data model architecture can significantly improve an organization’s business agility. RapidACE can understand changes to data models, compare, merge and synchronize those changes, and then automatically generate the ETL/ELT data loading routines according to the models. RapidACE can also visualize those changes in two and three dimensions, on the fly, connecting your models according to external and internal semantic relationships. |
More specifically, RapidACE imports unrelated source system data models and integrates them using a number of semantic ontology and neural-network learning system techniques. In addition, it generates integrated data architecture on an automated, repeatable, and consistent basis.
RapidACE also produces ETL, ELT and (RowGen) test data generation routines based on the architecture of the data models. RapidACE compliments the data modeling tool set, enables creation of what-if scenarios with your architecture, and bi-directionally engineers data models in multiple formats including:
- 3NF
- Staging Area Models
- Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Models
- Data Vault "the optimal choice for modeling the EDW in the DW 2.0 framework," according to Bill Inmon
- Star Schema Models
- Master Data Models
- Operational Data Stores
- Exploration Tables
RapidACE reduces design time, eliminates hand-coded architectural errors, and ensures consistency and repeatability within the architecture. RapidACE is used in SOA, MDM, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and Business Process Management to consolidate disparate systems' data models.
RapidACE - Beyond Data Modeling Tools
RapidACE imports disparate data models, integrates them (merges and combines them) to produce a common model. From this single consistent data model, it will generate ETL and ELT load routines, standardized data models, and cross-reference mappings from source to target models.
RapidACE also offers complex visualization of data models and their inter-relationships, allowing you to rotate, fly-through, generate, and change the context in which the data models are applied. Neural networks and learning systems provide a variety of new ways to work with the data models directly, and training or altering the outcomes.
Indeed, rather than simply merging models together by "dumping" them into a concatenated "structural model", RapidACE uses a state-of-the-art semantic engine with ontologies behind
it, so that when models are "merged and consolidated" it can physically
find, associate, and truly merge the tables together that match. Only RapidACE uses
strength and confidence coefficients to gauge the "associativity" of tables
and fields across and within disparate models as it generates and consolidates them.
RapidACE does not do logical modeling. In
fact, you still need a logical modeling tool like ER-Win to do that. RapidACE does not manage stored procedures and triggers, but it can generate ETL, ELT, and (RowGen) test data generation code based on customizable
templates. And, beyond a metadata repository for models, the RapidACE "Pro
Edition" is developing a metadata repository for Model
Integration Projects.
The true value of RapidACE for data model management lies in its ontological and semantic matching capabilities, including a neural network to "learn" how to integrate and merge disparate models. RapidACE also marries these capabilities with powerful visualization technologies so you can dynamically examine complex data relationships and immediately absorb business changes. Last but not least, RapidACE enforces standards and consistency no matter how large and complex data models become.

RapidACE automates and standardizes data model architecture throughout the enterprise.

RapidACE gives you an immediate view of table dependencies
throughout the data warehouse, weighting and distancing their relational importance
to the model, and each other, using semantic ontologies and self-improving
artificial intelligence.
Bottom line: RapidACE puts you in control of drill-down and dynamic model generation and visualization, automated model modification, consolidation, and standardization.
Free Plug Ins Feed ETL, ELT and Test Data Jobs
Once again, RapidACE imports disparate data models, integrates them (merges and combines them) to produce a single common data model. From this single consistent data model, it will generate ETL and ELT load routines for standardized data models, and cross-reference mappings from source models to targets.
RapidACE reads and writes DDL scripts, SQL Scripts, XML files, and tab-delimited files for cross-referencing. RapidACE also provides additional modules to connect to the database systems through JDBC for managing schemas. The plug-ins are template driven so you can customize the generation to meet your needs for.
- Informatica ETL (XML: Mappings, Sessions, Workflows)
- Pentaho ETL (XML)
- CoSort (SortCL transforms, protections, reports)
- RowGen (test data generation with FKs)
- OWB DDL Script Generation (Oracle Warehouse Builder)
OWB SQL Views Script Generation (Oracle Warehouse Builder)
- ELT SQL View Generation (ANSI-Standard SQL)
