The IBM merger with Sequent also provided access to CoSort, the first sort ported to DYNIX/ptx, for the record-setting TPC-H DSS benchmark. In addition, the CoSort Fast Extract (FACT) tool is now available for DB2, and CoSort's special Load Accelerator (CLA) library for DB2 replaces the sort routine within UDB's loader, speeding loads with no intervention or tuning. The CoSort Plug-In DataStage and MIMB metadata bridge between DataStage and CoSort file metadata can help improve transformation performance in high-volume data warehouse ETL environments. CoSort is certified "ServerProven" and listed with IBM's National Solutions Center and PartnerWorld for Developers programs.

Mainframe Migration Alliance
The Mainframe Migration Alliance (MMA) is a group of companies working together to help enterprises migrate data processing off the mainframe and onto the Microsoft platform. These customers typically have special requirements, such as “five nines” (99.999%) application uptime, or the ability to handle thousands of transactions per second. Addressing these needs requires technical depth in both the mainframe and target platforms. By focusing on the special requirements of mainframe users, the Alliance accelerates the migration of workloads (like sorting) off the mainframe and onto the more agile and cost-effective Windows platform (and CoSort).
Melissa DATA
Melissa Data provides data quality solutions with an emphasis on address and phone verification, postal encoding, and data enhancements. Melissa Data's data quality tools, including Address Object, can run directly with CoSort thanks to the field-level transformation library support in CoSort v9's SortCL program. Through this integration, companies can plug Melissa Data’s data quality libraries into CoSort data transformation, reporting and security jobs, and run everything together in the same input/output stream
Meta Integration Technology, Inc. (MITI)
MITI is the leading "Metadata Component Provider" to major database, data integration, business intelligence, repository, and modeling tool vendors. Now among the many metadata migration links in MITI's Meta Integration Model Bridge (MIMB) software are export bridges to CoSort's SortCL and RowGen data definition file (DDF) repositories. Now it is easier than ever to transform and synthesize high-volume file system data because the metadata ETL architects already own can be automatically created for CoSort tool use without cumbersome manual redefinitions.
