CoSort is the world's first, and most powerful, sorting and data manipulation product for large files on Unix, Linux and Windows. CoSort performs, speeds, and combines data: • transformation (sort, join, aggregate) • integration (filter, merge, reformat) • segmentation (select, scrub, redirect) • conversion (data and file type translation) • reporting (BI, batch, summary, CDC) • protection (encryption, de-ID, masking) Use CoSort for: big sorts and data preparation, legacy sort and data migration; database reorg and replication; flat-file ETL and ETL-tool optimization; delta display and file compare; custom reporting and data franchising; field-level security; and, application acceleration. Fast Extract (FACT) for Oracle is a parallel unload utility for Oracle that creates flat files from large tables. FACT uses SQL SELECT syntax; secures user access; includes many reformatting options; and, can handle LONG and LOB data. FACT also writes the extracts' metadata for CoSort and SQLLoader operations, speeding data warehouse ETL, reorgs, and database migrations. Fast Extract (FACT) for DB2* is a parallel unload utility for UDB and ESE that dumps DB2 table data to flat files, with the same reformatting and interoperability features as FACT for Oracle, while creating metadata for DB2 Load and IRI product job scripts. FACT for Oracle and DB2 both run on Unix, Linux, and Windows.
RowGen is a versatile, high-volume test data generation package. RowGen rapidly builds safe, realistic files in production table, legacy file, and custom report formats, using randomly selected and/or generated data in >100 single and multi-byte character sets. RowGen leverages model parsing from RapidACE, data manipulation and speed from CoSort, and compatibility with the Meta Integration Model Bridge (MIMB) to create and transform large, structurally (and referentially) correct data sets based on your metadata. Use RowGen for test database and data warehouse population, product development and stress testing, benchmarking, outsourcing, and compliance.
FieldShield is a data-centric security solution for flat files (data at rest). FieldShield shields fields in text, CSV, LDIF, XML, COBOL, and other sequential formats with strong encryption, de-identification, anonymization and pseudonymization, filtering and redaction, and custom functions. FieldShield can create an XML audit trail detailing your job script and runtime environment so you can verify compliance with privacy regulations. FieldShield leverages the same metadata as CoSort, FACT, RowGen and NextForm, and its data definition file format is also compatible with MIMB, making it easier to protect fields already defined in other applications.
NextForm is a flexible data migration tool for translating file formats and data types. NextForm allows you, for example, to quickly change LDIF to CSV, text to XML, Vision to ISAM, etc., and go the other way around. At the field level, you can convert EBCDIC to ASCII, packed decimal to numeric, UTF-16 to UTF-8, ISO to European timestamp, etc., and vice versa. NextForm also remaps field orders, offsets and/or separators to create new record layouts. NextForm uses the same data definition file (DDF) metadata supported by other IRI tools and MIMB to meet enterprise-wide conversion requirements.
